1.5 Tons of Single-Use Plastics Seized by Coimbatore Corporation Officials

Despite the ban that has been imposed on the manufacture, sale, and usage of plastic and polystyrene commodities, its circulation is still observed. To further reduce the spread of these items, the city corporation commissioner has ordered officials to go on regular raids in various places to seize all banned plastic entities.

Coimbatore: Officials from the Coimbatore Corporation seized 1.5 tonnes of single-use plastics banned by the Tamil Nadu government on Wednesday.
