Tirupur: The forest department rescued snakes that were roaming in the premises of the Tirupur collectorate and released them into the forest area.

Various government departments are functioning in the district collector's complex on Palladam Road. As hundreds of people can come and go here every day to get various services, the district collector's office officials have come to work this morning.

It was subsequently discovered that snakes had gone behind the district collector's office. The forest department was immediately notified about the incident.

The forest department reached the spot and rescued the two snakes safely and took them to the forest area for release.

This created a commotion in the area for some time.

Following this, a JCB vehicle was used to clean the back of the district collectorate without bushes.
