Earlier this year, the India Space Research Organization (ISRO) launched the successful SSLV-D2 mission. To contribute to its success, LMW produced four Interstage assemblies (S2V, S2S, S3C1 and S3C2) and a sub-assembly called the Piston Cylinder assembly that was used to separate the Payload fairing.
Lakshmi Machine Works' Advanced Technology Centre (ATC) contributed to ISRO's successful GSLV-F12/NVS-01 mission by manufacturing Composite Sandwich Panels and assembling the structure with the critical spacecraft interface known as the Payload Adapter.
This structure serves as the uppermost part of the vehicle and facilitates the interface between the Launch Vehicle and the Satellite.
LMV likes to highlight our contribution to the successful LVM3 One Web India-2 Mission conducted by ISRO in March 2023. LMW-ATC manufactured a flight- critical and complex 4m Dia Hat stiffened composite structure that houses sensitive equipment for GSLV. Additionally, they undertook the assembly, structural testing, and non-destructive testing of 24 composite tubular members for the Inter Tank Structure of the C25 Cryogenic Upper Stage.

This facility has recently undergone upgrades and incorporates cutting-edge equipment, including C-Scan technology for quality assurance and a Hot Air Oven for efficient production.
