Minister Senthil Balaji participated in the validation ceremony of the summer festival in Valparai and distributed welfare assistance

Minister Senthil Balaji attended the Valparai Summer Festival's valedictory ceremony. On this occasion, the Minister was accorded a warm welcome by 1000 women and women. He distributed welfare assistance worth Rs 39.11 lakh to the beneficiaries on behalf of various departments.


Coimbatore: Minister Senthil Balaji attended the valedictory function of the Valparai Summer Festival and distributed welfare assistance of Rs 39.11 lakh.

The summer festival is held for three days in Valparai, Coimbatore district. Senthil Balaji, Minister for electricity, attended the final day of the programme.

President and Commissioner of Valparai Town Council and  DMK functionaries welcomed the gathering by planting banana trees on both sides of the road from the Valparai post office area.



Around 1,000 women took pots and welcomed the minister. He also visited the flower show in the premises of the Boys Higher Secondary School where the summer festival is being held, a wildlife exhibition kept on behalf of the forest department, etc.

Later, Minister Senthil Balaji, who took part in the programme, explained to the audience the Tamil Nadu government's achievements over the last two years. 

The Minister stated on the occasion that the summer festival is being held in Valparai after a ten-year break. 



This summer festival will now take place on an annual basis. The DMK's two-year anniversary record shows that 505 promises have been fulfilled by 80 percent of the time.

Valparai Municipality has begun development projects that are required. The chief minister's preferred district is Coimbatore.  The Metro project in Coimbatore has been taken up at a cost of Rs 9,000 crore.

They have announced the establishment of a new tn XT it park company in Coimbatore. The election promise is to provide Rs 1,000 to housewives. It will be issued from September 15.

A sum of Rs.380 has been sanctioned for providing Rs.1,000 to the girl students studying in government schools and pursuing higher studies. A sum of Rs 500 crore has been allocated to provide breakfast to 18 lakh students. The'Nan Mudhalvan' scheme has given free electricity connections to 1.50 farmers.

This year, 50,000 farmers will be given additional free electricity connections. There are 48 schemes that have been implemented that will help us in 'Illam thedi kalvi scheme', 'Makkalai kaakum maruthuvam'.



The Chief Minister will announce that the people of Valparai will speak in the Assembly and announce the fare-free bus journey for women as in urban areas.

Thereafter, he distributed welfare assistance to the public. He distributed welfare assistance to 76 people, 13 ration cards, 5 toddlers and crutches, 11 free house site pattas, 6 groups of Livelihood Bank Loan Assistance Women's Help Group and winners of the online photo contest to a total of Rs 39,11,070.
