Grama Sabha meeting in Panchayats near Dharapuram - Discussion on basic needs

On the occasion of Labour Day on May 1, grama sabha meetings were held in Alangiyam and Goundachipudur panchayats of Dharapuram panchayat union in Tiruppur district. Basic needs including drinking water were discussed in the meeting.


Tirupur: The grama sabha meeting was presided over by panchayat president Devi Kuppu in Alangiyam panchayat near Dharapuram.

The chief guest was Union Committee President SV Senthilkumar. Silambarasan, Panchayat Union Committee Member, Panchayat Members, People's Representatives, Government officials, and

members of the general public attended.



Similarly, a meeting of the Goundachipudur Panchayat Grama Sabha was conducted at the Kurinji Nagar Community Hall. Nachimuthu, Panchayat Vice President, presided over the gathering. The discussion included topics such as drinking water, street lighting, road connectivity, and government sector related projects.



Ward members Dhanalakshmi Nagaraj, Narmada Easwaran, anganwadi workers, government sub-primary health centre staff, education department officials and others participated in the meeting.
