A tragic accident: Northern States Worker dies after falling into well near Annur

Naresh Singh, 25, is from Mumbai, Maharashtra. He was employed as a labourer in a hotel in Annur, Coimbatore district. Inebriated, he fell into a well, drowned in the water, and died terribly. Annur police are investigating the matter.


Coimbatore: In an inebriated state, a northern state labourer drowned after falling into a well near Annur.

Naresh Singh (25) is from Mumbai, Maharashtra. He was working as a labourer in a hotel on Annur Mettupalayam Road in the Coimbatore area.

After finishing his work on the day of the incident, he went to his room. Naresh Singh then drank beer with his friends, became intoxicated, and staggered out.

He stumbled into a 100-foot well in the dark and fell inside. The well had water to a depth of 40 feet. Naresh Singh drowned in the water because he couldn't swim. His friends searched for him the next morning.

They were shocked to find Naresh Singh's body floating in a well. They then informed the Annur police department. Police raced to the scene and began an investigation.

The body of Naresh Singh, who died after falling into a well, was found and transported to the Coimbatore Government Hospital for a post-mortem examination. Annur police have filed a case. opened an investigation into the matter.
