Forest secretary Supriya Sahu inspects government tribal school in Anaimalai Tiger Reserve

Forest Secretary Supriya Shahu, had come to the Topslip elephant rearing camp for the retirement ceremony of Kalim, a kumki elephant, who had crossed the age of 60. She tweeted that she inspected the tribal school in the Anaimalai Tiger Reserve and that it was doing well.


Coimbatore: Forest Secretary Supriya Shahu took to Twitter and said that the tribal school in Anaimalai Tiger Reserve is doing well.

Pollachi, Topsilip, Valparai and Manampally ranges are located in the Anaimalai tiger reserve area of Coimbatore district.



A few days ago, Forest Secretary Supriya Shahu visited the elephant rearing camp set up in Topsilip area to celebrate the retirement of Kalim, a Kumki elephant, who has crossed the age of 60.

She then inspected the areas in the forest area. She had gone to the residential school in Topsilip where tribal students were studying.

She inspected a digitally set up classroom, a clean, hygienic toilet, a science classroom, a science laboratory, etc., and inspected the school where 90 students were studying.

Forest Secretary Supriya Shahu took to Twitter to congratulate the Anaimalai Tiger Reserve forest department for the work on the premises of the school, saying it was a good school.
