Erode East By Poll: TN Minister Gingee Mastan prepares 'parotta' at a roadside eatery while canvassing for votes

Minister Gingee Mastan, who has canvassed for votes for Congress candidate EVKS Elangovan in the Erode East by-election, prepared a parotta at a roadside eatery and canvassed for votes.



Erode: The by-election to the Erode(East) Assembly constituency will be held on May 27 and electioneering has hotted up in Erode East Assembly constituency.

With the completion of the filing of nominations, the campaigning of candidates of various political parties has gained momentum and Tamil Nadu Ministers are camping in the East constituency in support of Secular Progressive Alliance Congress candidate E V K S Elangovan and are engaged in busy canvassing for votes every day.



In the meanwhile, TN Minority Welfare Minister Gingee Mastan, multi-religious harmony movement leader Haji Mohammed Rafi, and Secular progressive alliance party functionaries undertook door-to-door canvassing in Erode municipal colony area.



During the canvassing, Minister Senjimastan went to one of the roadside eateries and prepared parotta in the oven and canvassed for votes among the customers.



The humble act by a Minister surprised many onlookers in the area.
