Periyar's death anniversary: More than 100 people donate their body to Coimbatore government hospital

On the occasion of Periyar's 49th death anniversary, 100 people on behalf of Kattar magazine and Adi Thamizhar Peravai submitted their consent to donate their bodies after death at the Coimbatore government hospital.



Coimbatore: To commemorate the 49th death anniversary of Thanthai Periyar, Kattar magazine and The Adi Thamizhar Peravai have announced that they will be organizing the Dravidar Thalam. As many as 100 people have submitted the consent application for donating their body organs to the resident doctor and hospital superintendent of the Coimbatore Government Hospital.



Adhiyaman, the founder of The Adi Thamizhar Peravai, Thamarai Kannan of Kattar Publications, Shanthakumar of Comrade Foundation and Ravikumar, general secretary of The Adi Thamizhar Peravai, gave this approval.

"Each of us has donated our body after their death for the training of the students studying in the Government Medical College, Coimbatore. After death, our body will be useful one way or another.



In the first phase, we have given the approvals given by 100 persons to the Coimbatore government hospital management and many more are going to donate their body organs.
