Consultative meeting held in Tirupur by Minister C.V. Ganesan

The minister appealed to the government officials to work with full dedication for this as lakhs of youth will get employment in the mega employment camp to be held in 2023.


Tirupur: A meeting was held at the Collectorate meeting hall in Tirupur district to discuss the mega job fair to be held in Tirupur district in 2023.



Labour Welfare and Skill Development Minister C.V. State Information Minister M P Swaminathan, Adi Dravidar Welfare Minister Kayalvizhi Selvaraj, District Collector, Corporation Commissioner, Mayor and others participated in the meeting.



Speaking on the occasion, Minister C.V. Ganesan said that the job fair to be held in Tirupur will provide employment opportunities to lakhs of youth. For this, all government department officials should work with full dedication.



The minister, who had earlier inspected the construction work of the ESI hospital in Tirupur district, continued to conduct a direct inspection at the offices of the Labour Welfare and Employment Department in the district collectorate.

He then met the students in a class for students who could prepare for coaching exams on behalf of the placement camp.

"In a situation where only three per cent of Tamils are working in the union government posts and the Tamil Nadu government is taking various steps to increase it, the students should also cooperate fully and prepare themselves to be eligible for the jobs of the union government using the government's concessions," he said.
