Young nursing college student from Kerala dies near Navakkarai in Coimbatore as his two-wheeler rams into a car

Mohammed Nasil (19), a nursing college student from Bangalore and who hailed from Moorkanad in Malappuram, Kerala, had travelled to Coimbatore with his friend on Wednesday. On his way back to Kerala, Mohammed Nasil's two-wheeler rammed into a car near K G Chavadi, near Navakkarai in Coimbatore resulting in his death.


Coimbatore: A nursing college student was killed near Navakkarai in Coimbatore when he lost control of his two-wheeler and rammed into a car that had suddenly stopped ahead of him, on his way back to Kerala with his friend.

The deceased has been identified as Mohammed Nasil (19), son of Veerankutty, a native of Moorkkanad in Malappuram, Kerala. He was a first-year student of a private nursing college in Bengaluru.

Mohammad Nasil, who had come home for a holiday, had arrived in Coimbatore from Kerala on his two-wheeler on Wednesday along with his friend Mohammad Bazaz (19).

When the duo were returning to Kerala in the evening, it is reported that the driver of the car ahead of him had stopped the vehicle suddenly near Navakarai next to K G Chavadi.

Due to this, the two-wheeler lost control and hit the back of the car.



Mohammad Nasil, who was thrown off his bike died on the spot.



Bazaz, who was seriously injured, has been admitted to a private hospital in Sundarapuram and is undergoing treatment.

K G Chavadi police have registered a case in connection with the accident and are investigating.
