Chief of Defence Staff arrives at Wellington Military Training College

Chief of Defence Staff, General Anil Chauhan inspected the Wellington Military Training College at Coonoor in the Nilgiris district and enquired about the functioning of the college.


The Nilgiris: The Indian Tri-Services Chief General Anil Chauhan, who arrived at the Army Training College in Wellington in the Nilgiris district, was received by senior officials including Army College Commandant Virendra Wars.

Earlier, General Anil Chauhan arrived in Wellington by helicopter from Coimbatore.



He visited the Army College and enquired about the functioning of the college and the upgradation works of the college.



Later, addressing the soldiers, General Anil Chauhan explained the strengths of the Indian defence sector and the steps being taken by the Government to keep the forces in tune with the changing situation. He also spoke about the developmental measures being undertaken in national security in the Tri-Services.
