Labourer arrested for brewing liquor at home in Coimbatore

Police have arrested a labourer who brewed liquor at his house near Ettimadai in Coimbatore and are interrogating him.



Coimbatore: Velliangiri hails from Ettimadai Kambar Street. He works as a labourer.

In this case, the police received a tip-off that liquor was being brewed at velliangiri house.



When the police reached the spot and inspected it, it was found that the firewood kept for cooking was boiling and selling liquor in the oven.



Following this, the police seized 1 litre of liquor from the spot and arrested Velliangiri and are investigating. The incident has created a sensation in Edimadai area.
