At the grama sabha meeting held in Valparai, when the issues in the area were presented to the ward member and officials as a petition, it was assured that immediate action would be taken.
Coimbatore: Grama Sabha meeting was held in Valparai area under the 11th ward of Coimbatore Corporation. The meeting, chaired by ward member Senthil Kumar, was attended by people from Kamaraj Nagar, Tulasingh Nagar, Nadumalai and Pachamalai.

The meeting was also attended by city council president Azhagu Sundaravalli, municipal commissioner Baalu, municipal engineer Venkatachalam and municipal manager Salahuddin.
The public who participated in the meeting wrote down the issues in the area in the form of petitions and presented them to ward member Senthil Kumar, municipal commissioners and city council president.

In the petition submitted by the public, street lights should be installed in all areas. A retaining wall should be constructed for the people on the banks of the river. Several demands were made, including the construction of a drainage canal.
The mayor assured that the petition would be immediately considered at the city council meeting and a solution would be found.
