Tirupur: Palani (62), a native of Kangayam in Tirupur district is a wage labourer, In August 2020, he raped a 13-year-old girl.
The Tirupur Women's Police arrested Palani under the POCSO Act in connection with the incident and sent him to jail. The trial of the case was held in Tirupur Court.
