35-member teams, each comprising a doctor, nurse, medical staff and inspectors visited schools across Coimbatore. They provided medical treatment for those who had symptoms like fever, cough, cold etc.
Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Corporation administration conducted Fever Camps at 168 places in the suburbs and 70 places in Corporation limits, totalling 238 places. The medical teams visited schools to provide medical treatment for symptoms like fever, cough and cold.
The District Health Department Deputy Director, Aruna told reporters, "In Coimbatore, the incidence of fever among children has increased over the past few days. Details of children admitted for fever are obtained from private hospitals. Hence, the Coimbatore Corporation administration conducted Fever Camps on September 22 at 168 places in the suburbs and 70 places in the Corporation.
