The people of the area are sending a letter to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister requesting him to take steps to ensure that the toll plaza is not set up, saying that their normal life will be affected if the toll plaza comes up.

A copy of the letter was also handed over to the Coimbatore district collector. They said they had already informed the district collector at the gram sabha meeting about the toll issue and if a toll plaza was set up there, normal life would be affected and agricultural lands would be affected.
The toll plaza will be located at a distance of 8 km from coimbatore corporation. It is a violation of the provisions of the law, they said.
