Bitter gourd juice contains a high amount of potassium, magnesium, Vitamin C and other dietary fibres that can help benefit your skin and hair. The amount of calcium found in the bitter gourd is two times more than what you find in spinach. Bitter gourd helps to flush out the dirt and dust from the face, thus promoting a healthy and glowing skin. Due to a lot of vitamins and proteins present in the bitter gourd, it can help to flush out the unwanted dirt on the face easily. Take some bitter gourd juice and wash your face with it. Wait for 5 minutes and rinse off with cold water. Repeat this remedy every alternate day to get a glowing skin.

Treats Itching Of The Skin:

If you often suffer from skin itch and inflammation, you should be using bitter gourd juice on a regular basis. Take some bitter gourd slices and grind them to make a paste. Now add ½ a pinch of turmeric powder and one spoon of aloe vera juice to this. Mix all the ingredients together and apply this bitter gourd mask and wash off with water to treat itchiness

Treats Acne:

Due to antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties found in bitter gourd, it can help to treat unwanted acne, pimples and blemishes on the face. Take half a bitter gourd and grind it to make a paste. Now, add one spoon of nutmeg powder and one spoon of yoghurt to this. Mix all the ingredients well and apply this face mask carefully. Wash off with cold water after some time.

Treats Heat Rashes:

Due to a large amount of fibre and proteins present in bitter gourd, it can help to treat heat rashes on the skin. Take some bitter gourd pieces and boil them in water. Once the water turns into a pale green colour, allow the water to cool down. Now dab this water on your skin with the help of a cotton ball and wash off after 15 minutes. Use this solution to protect your skin during the summer days


Treats Irritated Skin:

If you are dealing with dry, itchy and irritated skin, this bitter gourd mask can help to benefit you in several ways. Talk half a bitter gourd and blend it to obtain a thick paste. Now take a few curry leaves and dry them under the sun. Then, crush them to make a fine powder. Add two spoons of curry leaves powder to the bitter gourd paste and mix well. Apply this on your skin, leave it for a while and wash off with cold water to treat the itchiness of the skin.
