Boiled Turmeric and Coconut Milk Cures These Diseases

Turmeric is the mother of all spices and a must-have in every Indian kitchen. Turmeric is not just a spice that gives a tinge of yellow colour to your food but it provides innumerable health benefits. So today in this article we will be explaining about how this turmeric drink helps in curing two major health problems - liver disease and brain-related health problem. All that you require to prepare this drink are easily and quickly available; hence, one need not worry too much.

Turmeric is known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties. It is basically the curcumin compound present in turmeric that helps to reduce liver inflammation and reduces the risk of liver cancer as well. Yet another major health benefit of curcumin compound in turmeric is that it helps to prevent the building up of beta-amyloid plaques, and thereby prevents Alzheimer's disease. Another important ingredient for the preparation of the drink, coconut milk is known for its medium chain triglycerides (MCT) fat content that helps to prevent depression and loss of memory and helps detoxify the liver.

  • Take about a teaspoon of turmeric powder.
  • Take one tablespoon of coconut oil.
  • Take two cups of coconut milk.
  • Take a pinch of black pepper.
  • Add all these ingredients in a pan and then boil it.

Have a glass of this warm drink for best results. Also one could add this to soups and curries. Make it a point to drink it everyday
