"People do not need to be afraid of Delta Plus Coronavirus, infected woman has recovered:" Health Minister
Coimbatore: Health Minister M Subramanian stated that a woman from Chennai who was infected with the Delta Plus Coronavirus has recovered from the infection.
On the occasion of the 95th birth anniversary of Kaviyarasu Kannadasan, Ministers on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu, M Subramaniam, Thangam Tennarasu, Raghupathi, Periya Karuppan, and others paid floral tributes to the picture placed under his statue in Thiyagaraya Nagar, Chennai.
Later, Minister M Subramanian told reporters that a nurse from Kotturpuram, Chennai had been diagnosed with the Delta Plus virus and was recovering well after a series of treatments. Also, a close contact of the nurse told the nurse that when tested, the test was negative. "No one one needs to worry about the Delta Plus virus. Restrictions on airports will continue and be intensified if foreign airlines started operating," added Minister M Subramaniam.
