A district official said, "More than 70 per cent of coronavirus treatment centers have empty beds due to the declining coronavirus impact in Coimbatore district. However, the health department said there was a possibility of a third wave of coronavirus. Hence none of the coronavirus treatment centers currently established in the district will be closed.
