The impact of Covid-19 has been intense in Valparai with every passing day and over 200 people have been affected by the virus in the Valparai area. A special Corona treatment unit with 150 beds has been set up at the Valparai Government College campus to treat Covid-19 patients in Valparai. Currently, 32 people have been admitted and are receiving treatment.
As part of the treatment, Valparai Government Hospital naturopath Karthikesh wore a PPE suit and taught yoga exercises for the patients who eagerly followed his instructions.
