"26 people test positive for Covid-19 infection in Kinathukadavu; Fresh cases on the decline:" Health Department


Coimbatore: The second wave of Covid-19 which had been sweeping across the Kinathukkadavu area in Coimbatore district in the past weeks, has been declining for the last three days.

Earlier, about 60 fresh Covid cases per day were confirmed in and around Kinathukadavu but with the district administration enforcing a total lockdown in the district and thus forcing people to stay indoors in their homes, fresh cases were on the decline.

According to the Health Department, only 26 people have been confirmed to be affected by the Covid-19 virus in Kinathukadavu area on Monday. Locals in the area breathed a huge sigh of relief on hearing the news of Covid-19 infected cases declining in their area.
