24 fresh Covid-19 cases in Kinathukadavu on Thursday; Health Department officials request public to take precautions and stay at home

832 people tested positive for Covid-19 in Kinathukadavu and its surrounding areas.


Coimbatore: Even as Covid-19 cases spiked in Coimbatore, 832 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Kinathukadavu and its surrounding areas.

About 228 people were tested for Covid-19 in Kinathukadavu area, and Health Department officials also conducted special medical camps in the areas of Mettuvavi, Seripalayam and Thevaiyampalayam.

Officials stated that about 24 people in Kinathukadavu area tested positive for Covid-19 in one day. Due to this, the infection rate in Kinathukadavu area has risen from 832 to 855. This has caused panic in the minds of people in the area. Health department officials and police officers have warned people to stay at home during the pandemic. Health officials have also urged people who have been tested to isolate themselves and be cautious until the Covid results are out.
