Five tea plantation hospital staff test positive for COVID-19


Coimbatore: Five employees of a plantation hospital in the Moodys area near Valparai were affected by the coronavirus. The office was then closed and disinfected by municipal staff.

A few days ago the tea plantation manager was tested positive following which all of the employees were tested for coronavirus infection. 5 of them have been confirmed to be infected.

A 54-year-old woman who had been in contact with the deceased woman a few days ago has also been confirmed to be infected. It is to be noted that more than 70 people have been affected by the COVID-19 in the Valparai area
