Out of the 452 coronavorus victims in the Kinathukadavu area, 385 have recovered: Health department


Coimbatore: The 2nd wave of coronavirus infection is spreading in Tamil Nadu and the government is urging the public to be extra vigilant as the impact of the coronavirus epidemic in Coimbatore district, which is next to Chennai, is spreading fast and cases recorded is crossing thousand everyday.

The number of coronavirus infections in Kinathukadavu taluk has risen to 452 from 448 confirmed cases till Sunday. Today four more people have been confirmed to be infected with coronavirus. Health department officials said out of the 452 coronavirus victims, 385 have returned home after receiving treatment.

65 people are being treated in Pollachi Government Hospital, Coimbatore E.S.I and private hospitals. Health officials say 3,500 people have been vaccinated against coronavirus so far in the Kinathukadavu area due to the rising COVID-19 infection.
