3 medical teams to work excusively at preventing spread of Covid-19 in Kinathukadavu, Coimbatore


Coimbatore: In the Kinathukadavu area of Coimbatore district, around 415 people have been affected by Covid-19 since March, last year. Five people have died of Covid-19 infection in Kinathukadavu area during the last one year.

Of the 415 people infected by Covid-19 in Kinathukadavu, a total of 383 people have recovered till date, with 32 patients still receiving treatment. Meanwhile, three medical teams have been set up in the Kinathukadavu area as a preventive measure against Covid-19.

The three medical teams led by Kinathukadavu Regional Medical Officer, Chitra and doctors Samitha, Arun Prakash, Dileepkumar and Mukilvannan visited the affected areas and took steps to prevent further spread of Covid-19.

According to health sources, the medical teams are working to raise awareness and conduct medical tests to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
