COVID-19 awareness campaign held for parents of school students in Valparai


Coimbatore: A COVID-19 Awareness camp was organised at the Panchayat Union Primary School in Sirukundra LT Tea Estate, which is situated next to Valparai in Coimbatore District.

The headmaster of the school Velmayil headed the camp and explained the importance of wearing face masks. He also emphasized the need to follow social distancing and frequent hand washing. Science teacher Senthamizh Selvi, the nurses Palaniammal and Tilaka also informed the crowd on the measures to prevent coronavirus and distributed leaflets for awareness.



Prizes were awarded to the students who won the first three places in the mural competition.



The awareness camp was attended by a large number of students, parents and the public.
