Youngster with 80% infection with coronavirus will recover and return home soon: Dean Dr. Nirmala


Coimbatore: Coimbatore’s ESI Hospital Dean Dr. Nirmala said a youngster with 80% infection with coronavirus has recovered fully and will return home soon.

Coronavirus special wards have been set up at government hospitals and ESI hospitals and special treatment is being provided to all. COVID-19 cases in Coimbatore is gradually declining. A 22-year-old man from Coimbatore was admitted to the ESI hospital in a life-threatening condition with 80 percent coronavirus infection.

He was kept in a separate room and given special treatment. The young man is currently recovering after a month of treatment with 10 percent infection remaining. Nirmala, dean of the ESI hospital, told reporters that he would soon make a full recovery and return home.
