60,000 babies born on New Year's Day in India: UNICEF announcement.


Coimbatore: UNICEF announced that 60,000 babies were born on New Year's Day in India. According to UNICEF, 60,000 children died in India on New Year's Day. The 2021 New Year was born last Friday. According to UNICEF, 3 lakh 71 thousand 500 babies were born worldwide on that day. The first child of the New Year was born in Fiji and the last child was born in the United States on that day. More than half of the total number of babies born in the New Year are born in 10 countries with India in the first place. According to this 59,995 children were born in India on New Year's Day.

This is followed by 35,615 children in China, 21,439 in Nigeria, 14,161 in Pakistan, 12,336 in Indonesia, 12,006 in Ethiopia, 10,312 in the United States, 9,455 in Egypt, 9,236 in Bangladesh and 8,640 in Congo. UNICEF estimated that a total of 140 million babies will be born worldwide this year. Children born on New Year's Day have entered a very different world than they were a year ago said UNICEF Executive Director Henry Labouisse.
