Kathal is an organic fruit of Moraceae family. Its latin name is Artocarpus heterophyllus and Jack Tree or Jackfruit in English. Kathal is a Hindi name and also popular with Sanskrit names Panas, kantki Phala or Amashaya Phala. Kathal has many health benefits or uses and also used as a vegetable in kitchens.
Kathal or Jack Tree is very intensive about 50-60 feet in height and its bark emerge milk type fluid.
