A two-day Para Throwball Tournament at Kathmandu, between Nepal and India was held on the 19th and 20th.
Coimbatore: The Coimbatore District Collector Kranthikumar Pati congratulated the differently-abled persons, who returned to Coimbatore after winning gold medals in the Para Throwball competition held in Nepal.

From Tamil Nadu, two differently-abled persons from the city, Satish Kumar and Mohan Kumar were selected. The two of them participated in the competition
A total of 14 players represented India and won the Gold medal.
Gold-winning team members Satish and Mohan were felicitated by the District collector and presented with medals and a certificate
According to sources the two of them have earlier represented India in international sporting events in Sitting Para Volleyball and secured gold medals in the earlier games too.
