Coimbatore: A State-level Swimming Competition was held at a private school on Pollachi-Coimbatore Road on Friday.

The competition was conducted for students in the age group of 14 to 19 years under "Freestyle," "Butterfly" and "Backstroke" categories.
The winners of the competition were awarded gold, silver and bronze medals. All the contestants who participated in the swimming competition were awarded certificates.
The overall championship title trophies will be awarded to those who participated in this State-level Swimming Competition and won in the most categories. The organisers said they would be given an opportunity to participate in national-level competitions. All the contestants participating in the swimming competition were given certificates as a gift.
