Coimbatore: Jacob Football Club and Peelamedu Football Club ended in a draw, at a match held as part of Coimbatore District Football Association's 'C' league at Carmel Garden school ground on Tuesday.

CDFA is organising league matches for C division team in the city in which 11 teams are playing under league basis. As part of the tournament two matches were conducted on Monday at Carmel Garden School ground.
In the first match between, Jacob FC and Peelamedu FC, Ajith opened the account for Peelamedu FC at 21st minute of the game. But the opponents, Jacob FC gave back to Peelamedu FC at 27th minute to equalise the score.
Jaimy and Marimuthu for Jacob FC and Ajith and David for Peelamedu FC scored each one goals, concluding the match to 2-2, draw.
Soon after the half time, David took a chance and scored a goal for Peelamedu FC while Jacob FC took time and scored at 54th minute of the game. Thus, resulting in a 2-2 draw.
Similarly in the second match, URC Football Club registered an easy 2-0 win over CIRS Football club. Jerry at 15' and 18' scored for URC, while CIRS went goal-less.
Scores: Jacob FC drew with Peelamedu FC by 2-2. (Jaimy at 27' and Marimuthu at 54' scored for Jacob FC and Ajith at 21' and David at 47' were the scorers for Peelamedu FC).
URC defeated CIRS by 2-0. (Jerry at 15' and 18' scored goals for winning side).
