CM MK Stalin brought about a renaissance in the lives of Sri Lankan Tamils: Lenin, Sri Lankan Tamil Welfare Advisory Committee

Lenin, a member of the Sri Lankan Tamil Welfare Advisory Committee, attended the event at the Dravidian Model Workshop in Coimbatore. He said that Chief Minister MK Stalin was the one who revived the lives of Sri Lankan Tamils in the rehabilitation camp.


Coimbatore: On the occasion of the 98th birthday of former Chief Minister kalaignar Karunanidhi, a Dravidian Model Workshop was held on behalf of the Coimbatore South District DMK Information Technology Team at a Pollachi Private Hall.

The event was organized by Manimaran Thendral, District Deputy Coordinator, Information Technology Team, Advocate Tamizhan Prasanna, former MLA VP Chandrasekhar, former Southern District Secretary Thendral Selvaraj, Chief Executive Officer MK Muthu, City Council Chairman Shyamala Navaneethakrishnan, Deputy Chairman Gautham and General Committee member Amuthabharathi were also present.



Lenin, a member of the Sri Lanka Tamil Welfare Advisory Committee, addressed the gathering. He spoke in support of the US Alliance, but said that maintaining some independence was important for India. Kalaignar Karunanidhi created the Dravidian model by creating a structure called Samathuvapuram.



It was Chief Minister MK Stalin who changed the name of the Sri Lankan refugee camp to a rehabilitation camp and continued to do so without stopping by name. By providing Rs 317 crore for Sri Lankan Tamil Rehabilitation Camp, continued funding for new housing, basic infrastructure, education, and women.

Chief Minister Stalin was the one who revived the lives of one lakh Sri Lankan Tamil families by giving them all the goods provided to the people of Tamil Nadu at fair price shops free of cost.
