Mother and two sons beaten to death in Tirupur by unidentified man

Police have launched an investigation to trace the identity of the man.



Tirupur: Police are investigating the identity of a man who killed a mother and her two sons in Tirupur.

Muthumari (38) from Thiruvarur district and her two sons Dharnish (9) and Nithish (6) lived in a house on Tirupur Neruperichal Government School Road for the past 15 days. An identified person was known to visit their home frequently. It is reported that there was an altercation between the person and Muthumari at their house on Monday morning and the person had left the house shortly after.

The house owner who went to the house later found Muthumari and her two sons dead and in a pool of blood. Immediately after, the owner of the house informed the police who arrived at the scene and seized the bodies of the three, and sent them to the Tirupur Government Hospital for autopsy.

The police led by City Commissioner AG Babu are investigating the murder with the help of sniffer dogs and fingerprint experts. The murder has shocked residents and caused a stir in Tirupur.
