65 mm of rainfall recorded in Siruvani on May 20, 2022

As of Friday morning, 65 mm of rain was reported in the catchment area of Siruvani Dam.



Coimbatore: The Siruvani Dam is the main source of drinking water for the people of Coimbatore Corporation and roadside villages.

The total height of the dam on the Tamil Nadu-Kerala border is 50 feet. In the area of Siruvani Dam, there is currently rainfall.

As of 6:00 am on Friday, 65 mm of rain was reported in the catchment area of the dam.

At the base of the river, 15 mm, of rain fell. Yesterday, the water level was 18.25 feet. Corporation officials said 5.3 crore liters of water was taken for drinking purposes.
