Minister Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments P.K Sekar Babu personally visited and inspected the Velliangiri Andavar’s Temple in Poondi, near Pooluvampatti in Coimbatore. He is inspecting if the hill path can be better renewed for the benefit of the devotees as promised in the TN Assembly.
Coimbatore: Minister Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments P.K Sekar Babu visited the Velliangiri Andavar Hill Temple in Poondi, Coimbatore district and inspected it.
Officials including Hindu Temples Commissioner J. Kumarakuruparan and Deputy Commissioner Senthil Velavan were present during the inspection.
Minister Sekar Babu, who visited the Temple in Vellingiri hills, inquired from the devotees and officials about the temple buildings, the needs of the temple, the facilities provided to the devotees, the basic needs being provided by the Government of Tamil Nadu, the food provided to the devotees at the Annathana Koodam and the special facilities provided at the Pilgrim's Hall.
Then he went to Velliangiri hill on foot and visited the mountain paths to check the feasibility for betterment.
