To pay tribute to those who were massacred on May 17th in Mullivaikkal, Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi, Tamil Puligal Katchi participated in a program On behalf of Thanthai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam, at the Periyar Pathippagam with more than 50 people attended.
Coimbatore: It has been 13 years since Mullivaikkal massacre happened and the 13th anniversary commemoration is being held today at various locations.
As a part of it, a memorial service was held inPeriyar Pathippagam Hall on behalf of Thanthai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam in Gandhipuram area in Coimbatore. Thanthai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam General Secretary K. Ramakrishnan led the procession and carried candles and chanted Veeravanakam.
