22-year-old student from city's private IAS training center dies by suicide in Coimbatore

Priyadarshini, a 22-year-old B.Com graduate from Thondamuthur, Kurumbapalayam in Coimbatore hung herself at her residence.


Coimbatore: Priyadarshini (22), a B.Com graduate studying at a private typing training center in Thondamuthur as well as at a private IAS training center in Peelamedu, ended her life by suicide on Monday.

Priyadarshini who went to the IAS training center as usual on Monday returned home in the evening and reportedly went inside the house and locked herself. Since she had not ventured out of the house even after several hours, Priyadarshini's parents broke open the door and were shocked to see that she had hung herself.

Thondamuthur police are investigating the suicide.
