NGO Green Clean has announced that a concert will be held in Coimbatore on June 2 to mark the 80th birthday of Isaignani Ilayaraja.
Coimbatore: Isaignani Ilayaraja's 80th birthday will be celebrated on June 2 in Coimbatore with a concert by Green Clean NGO.
The event coordinators met reporters at a private hotel in Coimbatore, Isaignani Ilayaraja's 80th birthday will be celebrated on June 2, to celebrate it on a grand scale, a live concert will be held on behalf of an organization called Green Clean.
“Our organization, Green Clean, has been providing various services for the protection of the environment for the past 25 years, they said that the concert will be centered on the environment at present.”
It was announced that Ilayaraja will be participating in the concert, which will focus on the upliftment of the tribal people and the production of oxygen by planting more trees, and that leading singers from the South Indian music world will be in attendance.
The event is expected to be attended by 15,000 to 20,000 people and for ordinary people there will be a lower admission fee for participation. Poor people will be given free passes.
Earlier, the event organizers also released the logo and poster for the concert.
