Coimbatore: Setting foot in Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Coimbatore's LMW - Advanced Technology Centre (ATC), with its world class facilities has delivered a structure for the upcoming SSLV program of ISRO. Notably, this is one among the major hardware being delivered by LMW ATC.
The structure -- S3C2 Inter-stage structure developed by LMW was handed over by Sanjay Jayavarthanavelu, Chairman & Managing Director of LMW to Dr. Unnikrishnan Nair, Director VSSC in the presence of various officials from both LMW & VSSC.

ISRO Space Program. Director VSSC complemented the LMW ATC & VSSC team for the efforts put by them for the realisation and commitment of delivery of the hardware with such high-quality.
LMW ATC is engaged with VSSC, ISRO for various metallic and composite structures for their PSLV, GSLV, SSLV Programs - Payload Fairing, Equipment Bay Shroud, Conical Adaptor and Lower Shroud.
The Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) is being developed by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) with payload capacity to deliver 600 kg to low Earth orbit 500 km or 300 kg to Sun-synchronous orbit 500 km for launching small satellites.
