The All India Democratic Women’s Association held a seminar on the occasion of 111th World Women’s Day at Red Rose Ground in Coimbatore and honored the first Woman Mayor of Coimbatore, Kalpana Anandkumar on the occasion.

Kalpana Anand Kumar, who is sworn in as the Mayor, the first Woman Mayor of Coimbatore was honored at the seminar held on the occasion of 111th Women's Day on behalf of the All India Democratic Women's Association.
A seminar was held at Red Rose Ground, Coimbatore to honor Kalpana Anand Kumar, who has been sworn in as the first Mayor Woman of Coimbatore Corporation.

The seminar also spread awareness about preventing sexual violence against women, setting up a committee for sexual harassment at workplaces and providing equal service to both men and women at workplaces, preventing religious differences in educational institutions, and providing first rights to women in education and employment opportunities.
Kalpana Anand Kumar, who is elected as the Woman Mayor in Coimbatore Municipal Corporation, said that all women should get equal rights and break the barriers to achieve their dreams.
