The repair works of the poor conditioned road in Race Course, Coimbatore where major government offices function and the government quarters are located, has begun upon the orders of the Corporation Commissioner Raja Gopal Sunkara.
Coimbatore: The ill-maintained roads in the Race Course are being repaired upon the orders of the Coimbatore Municipal Corporation Commissioner Raja Gopal Sunkara.
The District Collectorate, police and government officials, and judges' quarters are located in the Race Course in the central zone of Coimbatore. The roads were dug open for laying water pipes and cables and most of the roads were damaged and are in a very bad condition. This caused motorists passing through the Racecourse road to drive and ride with great difficulty.
On the orders of Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Raja Gopal Sunkara, work is on repairing the damaged roads at the Racecourse in the Central Zone. The pits dug for maintenance work were earlier closed. The corporation contractors are repairing the damaged roads.
