An 80-year-old woman suffered injuries in an accident after a two-wheeler hit her, the octogenarian succumbed to injuries not responding to treatment
Coimbatore:An 80-year-woman who was hit by a two-wheeler in Kinathukadavu died not responding to treatment.
Rangammal, (80), wife of Murugesh of Solavampalayam area of Kinathukadavu was hit by a two-wheeler while she was walking by to get to the store to purchase goods.
The passers-by rescued the octogenarian, who was seriously injured, and sent her by ambulance to Coimbatore government hospital.
Rangammal, who was undergoing treatment, succumbed to her injuries. The Kinathukadavu police have registered a case and are investigating a case against Thamilchelvan of Erode's Mollapalayam area for the accident.
