The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Coimbatore organized a special interaction with the High Commissioner of the Republic of Uganda on Wednesday, March 2 in Coimbatore to explore various trade and bilateral investment opportunities between India and Uganda.
Coimbatore: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) organized a special interaction with the Uganda High Commissioner on Wednesday, March 2 in Coimbatore to explore various trade and bilateral investment opportunities between India and Uganda.
Grace Akello, High Commissioner, the Republic of Uganda interacted with CII members during the session and highlighted the possible areas of mutual collaboration between Coimbatore and Uganda. She also explained the assistance and support provided by the Government for setting up business in Uganda. The interaction also focussed on business opportunities in key sectors including Manufacturing, Education, Infrastructure, Agriculture, Healthcare, Information Technology and others.
The meeting with the High Commissioner was chaired by Prashanth S, Chairman, CII Coimbatore Zone & Co-Founder & Director, Quadrasystems.net (I) Pvt Ltd. Arjun Prakash, Immediate Past Chairman, CII Coimbatore Zone & Director, Effica Automation, S Shrikumaravelu, Chair, Yi – Coimbatore Chapter & Managing Partner, Tekmak Industrials besides key members representing sectors like Agricultural Machinery, Automation, Foundry, Food Processing, Healthcare, Higher Education, Information Technology and Textiles participated in this interaction.
