The AIADMK Councillor, V Radhakrishnan who contested the urban local polls in Tirupur ward 22, has quit AIADMK and joined the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, after winning the elections.
Tirupur: An AIADMK member, who contested and won the urban local body elections in Tirupur at ward 22 joined DMK.
The AIADMK Councillor, V Radhakrishnan who contested the urban local polls in Tirupur ward 22, has quit AIADMK and joined the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, after winning the elections.
Radhakrishnan will be meeting the party Chief and Chief Minister MK Stalin in Chennai today, 1st March, led by DMK MLA Selvaraj.
Radhakrishnan won four consecutive terms and held the post of Regional President from 2011 to 16. He was the Secretary of the Municipal District Amma Sabha in the party.
