A 40-year-old man was found unconscious near the central bus stand in Gandhipuram area of Coimbatore and was taken to the hospital for treatment, but succumbed before reaching the hospital.
Coimbatore: An unidentified man who was found fighting for his life near a Central bus stand in Gandhipuram died before he was taken to the hospital. Police have launched an investigation to determine the whereabouts of the man.
A 40-year-old male was found unconscious at Gandhipuram Central Bus Stand in Coimbatore with foam in his mouth. The public who noticed him immediately rescued and rushed him by ambulance to Coimbatore government hospital for treatment. The doctor however declared the man brought dead.
The Kattoor police, who were informed of the incident arrived at the spot and recovered the body, and sent it for autopsy. The police have also registered a case and have started investigations to determine the whereabouts of the man.
