Police confiscated 1050-kg of ration rice from Kanuwai and its environs, who had been hoarding ration rice at a low price and hoarding it for sale.
Coimbatore: Police in Coimbatore have seized 1050 kg of ration rice for sale to people in and around Kanuvai.
According to a tip-off received by the Coimbatore Civil Supplies Criminal Investigation Department, police, led by Inspector Maneka, were on patrol near the Tadagam Road junction.
Then at around 06.00 pm on 26.02.2022, Madan Kumar seized about 1050 kg of publicly distributed ration rice which he had hoarded for sale at a low price to the people who came from the North and bought it at a low price. They are looking for Madan Kumar.
