Coimbatore: The indirect elections for the post of mayor and deputy mayor will be held on the 4th March in Coimbatore.
The indirect election to elect one person each from the ward members for the post of Mayor and Deputy Mayor for the Coimbatore Corporation will be held at the Victoria Hall meeting hall under the chairmanship of Corporation Commissioner Raja Gopal Sunkara. The swearing-in ceremony of the elected council members of the urban local body elections will be held at 10.00 a.m. on the 2nd of March at the Corporation Auditorium.
The indirect election to elect one person each for the post of Deputy Mayor will be held at the Victoria Hall meeting hall at the Corporation main office under the chairmanship of the Returning Officer and Corporation Commissioner Raja Gopal Sunkara.
The Mayor’s election will be held at 9.30 am on Friday, 04.03.2022 and by 2.30 pm in the afternoon, the election for the Deputy Mayor’s Post will be held.
